Research on Science and Technology Award System in Japan

Abstract

This article collects information from the Japanese science and technology award website, the related reports, classified and translated the information. Then this article analyzed the Japanese science and Technology Award management level. The characteristics of Japanese science and technology awards are summarized. The characteristics embodied in both centralized and decentralized hierarchical model; it mainly rewarded scientists, it also paid special attention to young researchers.
