Abstract

In order to improve the efficiency and quality of the class attendance check, this paper proposed an attendance check system based on fingerprint recognition, frequency identification, CAN communication and Ethernet technology. The system is composed of four parts including a system sever, service terminals, fingerprint recognition nodes, and client computers. The system server finishes the works such as database management, dispatching fingerprint and system management. Service terminals will transmit the fingerprint data, identify the students and record the attendance information. Fingerprint nodes collect, process and compare the fingerprint. Users login the system through client computers to query or/and manage the attendance data. This system proposed in this paper has following features and advantages. B/S structure is adopted to realize the flexibility and convenience. The framework of central management and distributed cooperation improve the real-time performance and reliability. The method to collect fingerprint dispersedly makes it to be efficient and flexible. The distributing structure of the service terminals improves the efficiency of the communication. Multi-sensors acquiring for fingerprint are used in a single classroom to boost the system’s efficiency.
