Mechanics of Materials Course Reform Exploration of Civil Engineering in Kunming University

Abstract

Mechanics of Material is an important professional basic course of civil engineering. In order to improve the learning effect, and make students more fit for application-oriented undergraduate education concept, this paper analyzes the comprehensive course reform program from the course of teachers, teaching materials, teaching content, teaching methods, course examination, students' mutual assistance mechanism, professional education, learning methods and other aspects, the problems for further study in the course reform is also discussed. The teaching practice shows that this comprehensive course reform program has achieved good results and has reference value for similar majors in similar universities.
