The Influences of Corporate Characteristics on Capital Structure—Based on the Empirical Data of Electronic Equipment Listed Companies

Abstract

Taking the research samples of the 2013-2016 data from 58 Shanghai and Shenzhen Ashare listed electronic equipment listed companies, the paper adopts factorial analysis and multiple linear regression model to measure the corporate characteristics with 5 index of asset size, debt paying ability, growth, profitability and operation ability, and then make empirical analysis of the effect factors of electronic equipment listed companies’ capital structures. The results prove that asset size, debt paying ability and operation ability has positive correlation with capital structure, while the profitability has negative correlation with capital structure. The growth has no obvious correlation with capital structure.
