Research on the Inheritance Scope of Network Virtual Property

Abstract

With the increasingly close relationship between Internet technology and personal life, the inheritance problem of network virtual property emerges as the time requires. At present, there is no clear stipulation about the of network virtual property in "inheritance law", which leads to the lack of legislative guidance in the court about such cases. The author starts with the common characteristics between network virtual property and other property, firstly, then demonstrates that it should be inherited as heritage, and then analyzes the particularity of network virtual property when compared with other property. The conclusion is that under the condition that the law is not clearly stipulated, we should follow the principle of virtual and dependence under the premise of typification, and due to the complexity of the content of network virtual property, we should pay attention to the case analysis.
