Study on the Status and Countermeasures of Mangrove Protection in Hainan Province—A Case Study of Qinglan Harbour Mangrove Nature Reserve

Abstract

This research investigates the status of mangrove conservation in Qinglan Harbour Mangrove Nature Reserve in Hainan Province, then analyzes and proposes corresponding countermeasures. The Qinglan Harbour Mangrove Nature Reserve has problems such as the continuous reduction of mangrove area, the reduction of biodiversity, serious water pollution and serious soil pollution. The main causes are economic factors, policy factors, scientific and cultural factors. Finally, this paper uses the theory of ecological environment pluralistic governance model to propose solutions from the three main bodies of government, enterprises and residents.
