Hayashi Fumiko’s Travel Memories and Writing Characteristics in Works Settings
Abstract
“Hayashi Fumiko is a representative female writer in the Showa Era of Japan. She is famous for her maiden work "Wanderers" and other series of works which depict the unrestrained women and the relationship between psychological distress. As a child, she wandered around Kyushu with her mother as a meta-cognitive, which made her form a life-long love and personality for traveling and wandering. She not only has many domestic and foreign travel experiences, but also combines these precious travel notes with the creation of her works to form her own writing characteristics. By analyzing the relationship between Hayashi Fumiko's travel experience and her works, this paper explores the significance of travel for feminist literature.â€
