Analysis on Industry Selection Evaluation System for SEMs- Based on FCE-GEM Method

Abstract

As an important component of enterprise groups, it is major problem for SEMs that how to select suitable industries and enter some industries timely. Based on current situations of industry, this paper establishes an evaluation system with twodimension index, namely “industry attraction and enterprises competitivenessâ€. And fuzzy comprehensive evaluation (FCE) method is used to obtain extent of industry attraction and competitiveness of enterprises. Then industry attraction and enterprises competitiveness will be matched through GE matrix in order to acquire the evaluation system of the industry choice for SEMs. Finally, strategies analysis on industry selection are proposed and directions of decision-making are also provided for industry choice for SMES.
