Big Data on Quality Monitoring and Management in Higher Education: A Case Analysis of One Certain University
Abstract
How to promote higher education development by means of modern and information technology is a major issue for government and universities. Big data application provides an effective method for this issue. This paper compares the difference between the student-teacher ratio of the university and the student-teacher ratio of one teaching units of this university, and the results show that problems can be discovered when educational data has been analyzed in depth. Furthermore, government and universities could use big data to allocate resources reasonably and scientifically.
