Design of Substrate Integrated Waveguide Bandpass Filter
Abstract
A bandpass filter using substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) technology is introduced in this paper. The bandpass filter is made up of six equilateral triangle resonant units. The filter of this structure has the advantages of high quality factor, low insertion loss, high power capacity and so on. A bandpass filter with a center frequency of 8.6GHz and bandwidth 800MHz is designed. The HFSS filter is optimized and simulated by using the simulation software, and satisfactory results are obtained.
