The Study on a New Model for Cultivating Innovative Foreign Language Talents

Abstract


The study proposes a new model for innovative foreign language talents, which adopts the perspectives of methodology and epistemology. The model is constructed by integrating the curriculum and syllabus, teaching methods, professional innovation teaching and institutional improvements. The teaching aim of the model is to cultivate the students to be foreign language professionals with innovative ability through “holistic educationâ€. The curriculum and syllabus should emphasize the courses of foreign language skills and ability, along with the courses for fostering innovative quality and creative ability.
