The cultivation of Applied Talents in Colleges and universities is of great significance to the regional development of western Liaoning, which is conducive to the development of the important functions of higher education in serving the society and providing opportunities for the regional economic development of western Liaoning. To meet the demand of China's economic construction and socialist market economy for high-tech talents, and expand the employment channels of students, colleges and universities in western, the specific needs of application-oriented personnel training is explored in Liaoning province. The cultivation of application-oriented talents in western Liaoning universities should be based on application, deepen the reform of system and mechanism, build the system and mechanism of collaborative cultivation of application-oriented talents, and build the application-oriented curriculum system based on disciplines.
