Research on Influence of Gas Content on Intensity of Coal and Gas Outburst

Abstract


To research on influence of gas content on intensity of coal and gas outburst, a set of device for simulating coal and gas outburst is improved by adding flow meter, gas and temperature sensors. Thus, variation of gas pressure and temperature during outburst is studied and evolution rule of separate parameters is then analyzed. The simulating experiment of coal and gas outburst is conducted while gas contents are 7.0m3/t,8.0m3/t,9.0m3/t,10.0m3/t respectively. The results show that the weight of outburst coal and outburst intensity both increase gradually with rise of gas content. Whereas, the gas content and outburst intensity are not simply linear related and the variation trend of crushing is not obvious either. Furthermore, outburst distance rises with increase of gas content. Besides, the drop rate of gas pressure and change of temperature rise up under a higher gas content.
