Behavior Emulation of Wind Turbine Considering Drive Train Torsional Oscillations

Abstract


In actual operation, drive train of wind turbine is not entirely rigid transmission, sometimes flexible characteristics contained. Facing this problem, this paper presents a simulation method on flexible characteristics, which based on closed-loop torque control. Through the method which based on closed-loop torque control, we can make the emulation motor reproduce the flexible characteristics of wind turbine. Results show that this method is effective and feasible. It can reproduce the flexible characteristics of wind turbine properly, and simulation accuracy has been further improved.
