Inducing Callus from Leaf Explants in Millettia Specisoa
Abstract
Leaves from Millettia specisoa were used as explants to induce callus. The results indicated that the formation of callus from M. specisoa leaves could be promoted by increasing appropriate concentration of AgNO3 into the basal medium, while elevating concentrations of casein hydrolysate and CuSO4 did not improve the callus induction rate and the production of callus was inhibited. This study laid a preliminary foundation for the regeneration system establishment of M. specisoa.
