Current Situation, Challenges and Strategies of Energy International Cooperation for Local Government under the “Belt and Roadâ€

Abstract

International energy cooperation under the Belt and Road initiative plays a significant role in maintaining energy security and promoting economic and social development in China. This paper analyzed the current situation of energy international cooperation for local government, and stated the main challenges of energy international cooperation for local government under the “Belt and Roadâ€. Finally, this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to strengthen international energy cooperation for local government under the Belt and Road initiative.
