Researches in Optimization Selection of Design Scheme of Underground Natural Gas Storage Based on TOPSIS Method

Abstract


As the increasing importance of natural gas in the energy consumption of our country, the natural gas consumption has been rising year by year. In order to avoid gas shortage, the most effective way is to storage the natural gas, while the best method is to build underground natural gas storage. There are different choices for the storage design regarding to the specifications. Therefore, it is of great importance and critical to optimize the design schemes of underground storage. In this study, we extract the key evaluation indices on the basis of previous researches. An innovative combination of analytic hierarchy process and TOPSIS method have been used to determine the optimal design plan of natural gas storage reasonably.
