Research on Intercultural Communication Ability Training for International Talents

Abstract

This paper discusses how to cultivate the intercultural communicative competence of international talents in College English teaching. The author first reviews the concepts and meanings of intercultural communication competence of scholars at home and abroad, and points out that intercultural teaching is the breakthrough point in the cultivation of intercultural communicative competence in College English. It involves three categories: language basis, application practice and quality training. The form of training can be developed through the development of high quality teaching materials, the cultivation of two-way cross-cultural awareness and the implementation of practical training projects to cultivate intercultural communication ability.
