Study on the Men's 20km Race Walker of 2017 London World Athletics Championships

Abstract


The 2017 London world track and field championships will officially opened in London on August 5.Chinese team sent Kaihua Wang, Rui Wang, Xiang-qian Jin three young athletes to participate in the men's 20 km World Championships match. Unfortunately, Zhen Wang, Ze-lin Cai and Ding Chen, the athletes who achieved good results at the Olympic Games in Rio, failed to take part in the world championships. Kai-hua Wang, the only Chinese man in the 20km race walking, won the seventh place in the world championships. Others Chinese players completed the race walking, but did not achieve the desired results. Therefore, this paper mainly summarizes the experience and lessons of the world championships in London and analyzes the form of the 20km race walking match for the upcoming Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020.
