The Application of Packet Transport Network Technology Used in Power Communications of Smart Grid

Abstract


For smart grid based on Internet protocol (IP) data volumes increase, the traditional electric power communication network cannot meet the demand of the access problem, thus, the business of the packet transport network (PTN) technology was put forward to solve the point of view based on IP. This paper expounds the PTN key technology and its application in the smart grid, and puts forward and analyzes the PTN technology applied in the power communication model of smart grid finally.
