Effect of Hydrogen Utilization on Removal of Oxidative Pollutants from Hydrogenbased Membrane Biofilm Reactor
Abstract
This paper focuses on the mechanism of hydrogen membrane biofilm reactor to remove oxidative pollutants from drinking water by hydrogen. Hydrogen membrane biofilm reactor can be used polyvinyl chloride (PVC) hollow fiber membrane, the use of hydrogen as an electron donor to restore water oxidizing substances (such as nitrate, perchlorate, bromate and sulfate, etc.). It has the adv antages of high utilization rate of hydrogen, green pollution, small footprint and low biological yield. Compared with traditional sewage biological treatment, it is a new type of water treatment technology, so it has a good application prospect.
