Existing Problems of China's New Energy Vehicles Industry and Their Legal Suggestions

Abstract

Although China has achieved success in the production and sales of new energy vehicles in the development process of new energy vehicles industry, there are still have many problems, such as " fraud subsidy " of new energy vehicles, and lax supervision of new energy vehicles industry.In view of the existing problems of China's new energy vehicles industry, this paper puts forward three suggestions on the legal and policy aspects. First, the current subsidy mode of new energy vehicles ought to be transformed to strengthen the subsidies to the enterprises with the high technological level and the prominent management ability and improve the preferential policy in the use of the new energy vehicles.Second, the supervision and punishment of new energy vehicles industry should be strengthened, especially implementing the coding system for new energy vehicle batteries and improving the correspondence between coding and product to ensure the uniqueness of the product. Finally, the government should further strengthen the policy support for technological breakthroughs and technological innovations of whole vehicles and core components through legislation
