Numerical Simulation on Hypersonic Missile of Integrated Thermal Protection Structure
Abstract
Thermal and pressure load on hypersonic missile are calculated using multi-field coupling simulation method. The structural improvements of hypersonic missile can achieve hypersonic missile’s integrated thermal protection using current materials based on simulation model. Results show that, when connecting section on missile module is used to support loading and thermal insulation material is filled in the middle of structure, integrated thermal protection can be achieved; enhancing inner wall, external wall, thermal insulating thickness and increasing thermal insulating length have a positive influence on structure of thermal protection; integrated thermal protection structure design meets strength requirement.
