Abstract

The near-space-aircraft uses a large number of high-performance composite materials, which can easily accumulate static charges when flying for a long time at high altitudes. In severe cases, it will cause electrostatic discharge and endanger flight safety. Studying the charging characteristics of near-space-aircraft is critical to ensuring its flight safety. Based on the non-contact electrostatic field measurement method, an electric field measurement experiment system is designed by using MEMS electric field sensor. The accuracy of the measurement results is ensured by the electric field sensor calibration experiment and the system reliability test. The flight charging experiment of the fixed-wing solar aircraft is carried out, and the variation law of the charge accumulation phase and the charge dissipation phase of the aircraft solar panel is obtained. This study provides data support for the theoretical study of near-space-aircraft charge characteristics, and provides a basis for near-space-aircraft electrostatic protection and electrostatic detection.
