Analysis of Artistic Characteristics of Chu Lacquerworks

Abstract


Chu lacquer has become the representative of lacquer art in the Warring States Period because of its variety and excellent production. This article elaborates its unique artistic features through the analysis of the selection, types and modeling arts, colors, decoration and other aspects of Chu lacquer ware.
