Hong WU, Qiang GUO

Abstract

Based on general-to-specific modeling approach, this study measured the tourism visitation for Hong Kong from origin countries involving China, Japan, Korea and USA. The results presented different elasticities of the four countries. As for government policies, the individual product/service arrangement will be an applicable strategy to enhance destination competitiveness in Hong Kong.
